Dr. Rasik Shah is a highly experienced senior paediatric surgeon and urologist with over 40 years of experience, currently practicing at SRCC Childrens Hospital managed by Narayana Health in Mumbai, India. He is a specialist in minimal access (laparoscopic) pediatric surgery, complex tumor surgeries, and pediatric urology. He has contributed extensively to the field through clinical excellence, academic leadership, and surgical innovation.

He carried out his first laparoscopic pull through for Hirschsprung's Disease of India on December 22, 1998 at BYL Nair Hospital, operating on a 1-year old girl. This changed the mindset of his colleagues that advanced minimal access surgeries can be carried out even in small children.

He has done many surgeries for the first time in India, including -
